Sonu Nigam, the Popular Bollywood playback singer, was honoured with the Magnificent Performing Arts Award at the 21st Century Icon Awards in London. Nigam was among a host of winners across a range of categories at a gala awards ceremony held at the UK.

21st Century Icon Awards:
- The 21st Century Icon Awards is initiated by UK-based Indian-origin entrepreneurs and co-founders of Squared Watermelon Ltd. Tarun Ghulati and Preeti Rana.
- The judges panel include personalities across varied fields namely:
- British Indian peer Baroness Sandip Verma
- Ibukun Adebayo from London Stock Exchange’s (LSE) International Markets Unit
- Former British Olympic champion Denise Lewis
- Initially, 700 were nominated and were narrowed down to 44 finalists. It was then scrutinized to a final list of 18 winners.

- Specialist Professional Award - Charlotte Crosswell, CEO of Innovate Finance UK

- Competitive Sports Award - Rachael Burford, Rugby Player and Founder of Burford Academy the UK
