The Indian culture and Ramayan is the treasure of centuries-old Indian culture and has solutions to all problems in the world. The Maharishi Valmiki on the life and values of an ideal human being. It beautifully depicts the highs and lows of human life and answers questions on morality and ethics arising out of difficult situations in life.

  1. ICCR was established with the vision of propagating Indian culture and its values to the whole world. There is no other better way to realise this vision than organising the Ramayana festival
  2. It explained difficult concepts like "good governance, the art of war, science and technology, protecting the dignity of women, among others, through conversations between the different characters in the scripture.
  3. Cultural dimension is an important aspect of soft power and the Union government since 2015 has projected it strongly.
Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR):

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Independent India’s first Education Minister. 

Main Objectives:
  1. Its objectives are to actively participate in the formulation and implementation of policies and programs pertaining to India’s external cultural relations
  2. To foster and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries to promote cultural exchanges with other countries and people, and to develop relations with nations.
