First International Conference On Sustainability Education (Environmental School)

International conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE 2019) is planned with a view to explore pathways to address current and emerging sustainability challenges through education by empowering learners with new skills, values and attitudes that lead to more sustainable societies.

The first of its kind conference is being organized in New Delhi, India at the India Habitat Centre on 09-10 September, 2019.

New York Becomes Second US State To Ban Flavored E-Cigarettes

New York became the second US state to ban flavored e-cigarettes. following several vaping-linked deaths that have raised fears about a product long promoted as less harmful than smoking.

  • The health council passed emergency legislation proposed by Governor Andrew Cuomo outlawing flavored vaping products amid an outbreak of severe pulmonary disease that has killed seven people and sickened hundreds.

ISRO and DRDO ink MoUs to provide technologies for human centric systems

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) joined hands with Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the development of human-centric systems for the Human Space Mission to demonstrate its human space flight capabilities. A delegation of ISRO scientists, led by Director, Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) Dr S Unnikrishnan Nair signed a set of MoUs with various DRDO labs
