3. Railways aim to install CCTV cameras in over 7,020 train coaches by March 2021

The railways has set a target to install CCTV cameras in more than 7,000 coaches of mainline passenger trains by March 2021, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal informed Parliament Wednesday. Replying to a question in the Lok Sabha, he said CCTV cameras have already been installed in coaches of premium, mail, express and suburban trains.

The ministries of Ayush and Electronics and Information Technology on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for collaboration in the digitization of the AYUSH sector. The Electronics and Information Technology Ministry (MeitY) agreed to advise and give technical support to the Ayush Ministry (MOA) for planning and development of AYUSH GRID Project, an MOA release said.

6. CCMB and CDFD sign MoU to develop newer genetic disease diagnostic methods

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) and Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) on Wednesday here with an aim to enable better ways of diagnosis and treatment of genetic disorders. The objectives of the MoU also include the provision of quality DNA based diagnostic services to the public at lower costs, to develop newer diagnostic methods and to engage in scientific research to improve understanding of human genetic disorders.

8. IAEA confirms Iran breached enriched Uranium Stockpile limit set by 2015 nuclear deal

Iran has breached the limit of its enriched uranium stockpile set in a 2015 deal with major powers, foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday, according to the ISNA news agency, defying a warning by European co-signatories to stick to the deal despite US sanctions. Zarif confirmed that Iran had exceeded the relevant limit of 300 kg of uranium hexafluoride (UF6), but foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said Iran’s steps to decrease its commitments to the nuclear deal were reversible.
